Description
We are looking for a confident communicator who is passionate about delivering fantastic customer service to police officers during the 2012 Olympics and can lead their team to achieve great results.
The Position
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader to join our team. The post holder will ensure that the team is providing an effective, efficient and consistent service to customers as well as managing rotas and guiding team members in their duties whilst adhering to company policy and procedure.
This fantastic opportunity is based at a London location. As the site is open 24/7, you will need to be available to work shifts which will include evenings / earlies and weekends on a rota basis.
You will need to be fully available for the Olympics contract from 15th July to 17th September with peak periods between 25th July – 12th Aug & 29th Aug – 9th Sept. We also have immediate work available through Resource Network.
Requirements
Essential
Application subject to a MET Police Counter Terrorist Check
Good communication skills in order to be able to liaise with a wide range of visitors to your work area
Be able to comply with legislation and follow all rules and regulation laid down in the staff handbook and unit policy statements, with regard to uniform, personal hygiene and health & safety
Customer service focused
Team player and can do attitude
Takes pride in personal appearance and hygiene
Self motivated and able to use own initiative
Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a positive attitude
Experience of working in Catering environments involving high levels of customer care
Desirable
Experience of working in an environment where there are peaks and troughs in demand during service times
Experience of working in a high security location
