Job Description
PLEASE NOTE - THIS POSITION IS FOR THIS WINTER SEASON. From cooking and daily cleaning to stock control and budgeting, you'll be responsible for keeping things running smoothly and efficiently in your chalet. Creating a real “home from home” atmosphere for your guests, you will be providing excellent quality 3 course evening meals, homemade cakes and biscuits for afternoon tea and a hearty breakfast to give your guests their energy boost before they hit the slopes for a full day skiing. Whether you're in sole charge of one of our chalets, or working as part of a team in a larger property, you’ll need to be friendly, outgoing and enthusiastic with a passion for good food and excellent customer service.
Requirements
Essential Excellent communicator with strong social and people skills Ability to work autonomously/unsupervised Team player Strong Attention to detail Positive and friendly manner Previous catering/hospitality experience Desirable Second language in either French, German or Italian Previous experience of working in a ski resort General Health & Safety and Basic Food Hygiene knowledge Attending a chalet host cookery course
