Description

Leading by example, you will assist the Head Chef in building a professional, efficient and enjoyable kitchen environment. You will help motivate the team to produce a consistently high quality meal service in both buffet and A la Carte styles. You will have proven experience in all areas of food preparation, design and HACCP requirements.


You will also be expected to demonstrate a passion to learn and to take ownership of all jobs given; these must be done to the best of your ability and be done to Neilson standards.

There’s a great camaraderie in our Neilson kitchens but you’ll be expected to work in a very hot, fast paced and pressurized environment. This can be very challenging but is also very rewarding.

You will be expected to be clean and smart at all times and adhere to both UK and the country of origin’s health and hygiene standards.

If you would like to apply for this role then please do consider, working in a foreign country with an international team and working for a head chefs who are use to producing high standards of food in a high-pressurized environment. You must be available for the full season from mid-April to early November.

Requirements

To be considered for this role you would ideally have been in this level of position before in a large hotel or are looking to take the next step in your career development. Able to work well under pressure you’ll take pride in working as part of a team to deliver fine food to Neilson guests. You should also have a professional qualification or equivalent relevant experience in a professional kitchen.
