Description
Looking for a job with plenty of time on the slopes? We require a Ski Hosting / Driving couple for this season!
This is non cooking role where the emphasis is on hosting guests on and off the slopes. There will be twelve guests in the chalet and two vehicles to drive so are seeking a couple.
Each day you will take the guests to the slopes, show them round the mountain, take them to a restaurant and deliver them back to the chalet at the end of the day.
You will ski each day in one of the worlds best ski resorts: Val D'Isere, Tignes.
You will have to do a transfer to a local airport once, sometimes twice a week on average. This trip takes around six hours return.
The job is hard work, you will ski nearly every day, carry skis and have to cater to clients needs at all times.
You will have various responsibilities around the chalet including log stacking, snow clearing and ensuring vehicles are presentable at all times. You will be responsible for looking after the hot tub and fitting guests with skis.
You will work alongside experienced hospitality professionals (chef and chalet girl) and will be expected to support them wherever necessary in a team environment.
Requirements
This is a customer facing role. You will have strong interpersonal skills, high level of skiing ability and be comfortable conversing with clients aged from seven to seventy.
You will need a driving license and be comfortable driving guests in difficult conditions in a foreign country.
People with sporting backgrounds are particularly relevant as a high level of fitness is required.
