Main Duties

In Cambridge the programme involves 42.3 hours a week, comprising 25 lessons (20.8 hours), 3.46 hours meeting allowance and 18 hours supervisory duties.

At induction, teachers can indicate whether they wish to be included in the list of staff who would like to be offered additional work to maximise earnings. This will enable the Centre Manager to take this into account as early as possible in the planning of weekly timetables.

Compensation
Teachers will be paid £310 per week for the standard 48 hour (Cambridge 42.3 hours) programme shown above, and upwards of £340 per week for teachers who wish to maximise earnings during the summer by undertaking variable amounts of additional teaching duties @ £13.42 per lesson and non-teaching/supervisory duties @ £6.80 per hour.
Full board and lodging in modern, comfortable, single rooms in the residence is also included.
Holiday pay at 12.1% of contracted hours is added to final payments on termination of contract.
