Description
This paid teaching programme is a fantastic opportunity to spend time living and working in Thailand, experiencing real Thai culture, while earning money and gaining experience teaching abroad.
Teachers begin their adventure with a weekend orientation in Bangkok. Following this you will be transferred to Singburi for a 4 week cultural induction and TEFL training course to prepare you for your placement.
Paid teachers are placed in primary and secondary schools in the Singburi area, where their main role is to teach English to Thai students aged between 7 and 18 years old.
The schools are receptive to different styles of teaching and you can get involved in PE classes or other subject areas where have a particular interest.
Your teaching schedule will be flexible, but you should expect to work between 3 and 5 hours each day. Working hours will be between 8.30am and 3.00pm, Monday to Friday.

Requirements
Paid teachers take part in a 4 week cultural induction/TEFL training course in Thailand so previous teaching experience is not necessary.
In most cases, participants need to be:
- Aged 18 or over
- A university graduate
- Native English speaker
(Exceptions can be made on a case-by-case basis.)
Costs
This teaching programme has a placement fee of £1295. £150 of this is payable upon confirmation of your application and the balance once your selection for the placement is confirmed. In addition to this you will need to buy your own flights and travel insurance.
