Are you looking for a challenge in 2012? Are you focused, organised and passionate about teaching?

We are looking for teachers to work in our homestay centres.

15 hours of tuition per week, plus activities if you are working full-time or 15 hours of tuition per week if you work part-time.

Homestay courses last for 1, 2 or 3 weeks and include of 15, 24 or 33 hours of tuition respectively, plus activities. These are short courses with a teaching focus on practical, everyday communication. With such a short time there is a lot to pack in, and we seek energetic and enthusiastic teachers who will help students to get the most benefit from their stay.

Tutors will be fully briefed before the start of the course and tuition materials provided.

Positions are available in our homestay centres in King’s Lynn, Lincoln, London, Milton Keynes, Nottingham, Peterborough, Plymouth, Stamford, and Wisbech, as well as Mallow in Ireland.

We offer a competitive wage, depending on qualifications and whether you work part-time or full-time.

You can choose the centre and the dates that suit you – you can work for just one week or for the whole summer – It’s up to you.

We offer both part-time and full-time positions. Part-time tutors teach in the mornings only. Full-time tutors teach in the mornings and take part in afternoon and whole-day activities.

Applicants should live locally for our Homestay courses, as accommodation is not provided.

Requirements

You must hold one of the following qualifications Cert TESOL, CELTA, CELTYL, and or PGCE/Degree, and/or experience of teaching English as a Foreign Language.

Aged 20 or over.

We require all applicants for all courses to attend an interview, to be held in, London. All successful candidates will need to obtain an enhanced CRB disclosure before starting work for Anglophiles.

All staff must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
