Description

Gardener required for a happy family home who simply need help to maintain our 20 acres of property which has lots of weeds & requires general maintenance.

Located just 1hr north of Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast is home to the fantastic beaches of Noosa, Mooloolaba, Caloundra, the beautiful Blackall Range, Glasshouse Mountains and Australia Zoo.

Our family home is clean and very comfortable. It is hidden away in the hills of the hinterland (5mins west from Nambour). We have a lovely self contained granny flat with its own bathroom, beautiful rural setting, swimming pool to cool off & relax after a hard day’s work!

Your duties will include; General lawn and garden maintenance around the house, whipper snip fence lines, spraying weeds, mulching gardens, spreading grass seeds, cleaning, painting and other general maintenance projects.

Minimum of one week stay & own transport is required as there are lots of hills in the area and no buses/public transport available.

The work is in exchange for free accommodation & food with flexible working hours on offer (e.g. few hours each day or one day on one day off) so you can enjoy your stay and explore the local area.

Requirements

No experience necessary but we are looking for reliable hard workers who are practical and trustworthy (preferably a couple or two friends who are travelling together so you have company while you stay with us).
