Description
We are currently looking for a qualified nanny (NNEB, BTEC, NVQ Level 3) to work in our chalet from the 3rd March to 14th April.
You are an extremely important part of the service we offer and this is a great opportunity to do the job you love in a fantastic environment. You will be responsible for the day to day management of the crèche.
Main Duties
• Meet the parents and all children on Saturday evenings.
• Provide emergency contact information and ensure completion of required crèche registration paperwork.
• Collect children from ski school or any other activities.
• Implement the weekly activity schedule and update each week
• Prepare and serve a hot lunch daily and snacks.
• Organise birthday parties and cakes for children.
Health and Safety
• Carry out safety checks on crèche equipment.
• Maintain equipment and ensure that toys are kept clean and in good working order.
• Complete accident book when required.
• Ensure that excellent standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained in and around the crèche.
• Clean and tidy the crèche daily, washing linen and tea towels.
Administration
• Prepare a weekly shopping list.
• Pre and post season preparation of crèche inventory.
• Re-order consumables, on a weekly basis.
• Attend weekly staff meeting to receive information on numbers and ages of children arriving in the following week.
• Record working hours and present this time sheet on a weekly basis to the Resort Manager.

Requirements
The successful candidate will be a team player who leads by example and isn’t afraid to “role up their sleeves and muck in”. Great childcare and interpersonal skills are paramount as is a fun loving but organised approach to work.
Qualifications
• Recognised UK childcare qualification
• Knowledge and track record of working with children 6 months to 8 years
• Minimum of 6 months experience in childcare
• Patience and a sense of humour
• Excellent communication skills
• Flexibility
Applicants must hold an EU passport, have a UK National Insurance number and UK bank account. All candidates should be mature and able to prove relevant experience /qualifications.
