Description
It's not just cricket... earn whilst working at the world famous Oval Cricket Ground!
As well as hosting County and International cricket matches, the Oval also offers conferencing and events facilities. We are recruiting for fantastic hospitality and retail managers and supervisors, who are available weekdays, weekends and/or evenings.
You will be expected to manage an operational unit within The Oval.
You will be required:
* to lead and direct the staffing team within your given area;
* to ensure that the highest level of food and customer service is provided at all times;
* to ensure that all staff are professional in their appearance and approach at all times;
* to ensure that any operational targets that you are given are achieved;
* to ensure that staff rotas are correctly managed and to achieve the rota hours given to you;
* to ensure that all administration is carried out in the correct manner;
* to work in conjunction with the other Unit Managers to pool resources and support when necessary;
* to implement, monitor and control all statutory and FMC health and safety policies and procedures;
* to safeguard all FMC monies and property.
Hours of work will be in accordance with the demands of the business.
Requirements
Previous experience of working in a similar role in the events and venues industry is essential.
You will need to have excellent organisational and communication skills and provide a fantastic customer service at all times. Attention to detail is also a required skill.
You must be able to speak English fluently.
