Description

To be a Bar Manager you must be independent, flexible and adaptable, determined to succeed and strive to be even better.

Your role will include
  • Initiate, support & promote theme nights and events.
  • The control and security of cash, stock, and premises.
  • Promote added value sales of food, merchandise etc where available.
  • Initiate and control all daily and weekly cleaning duties.
  • Be aware of the range and style of products in the bar and advise guests of options available.
  • Ensure pricing structure supports company financial targets.
  • Order from and liaise with suppliers to ensure sufficient stock is available to meet customer demand.
  • Providing a welcoming environment to maximise sales.
  • Communicate with guests in a friendly and appropriate. manner. Adhering to Local Authority regulations, and company and local hygiene policies.
  • Production of financial reports on a weekly basis.
  • Production of ad hoc reports as required.
  • Contribute to the meeting of set financial targets and maximising turnover.

Requirements

As part of a close team you must be highly motivated and organised with very strong customer service skills.

You will have Bar Management experience and a good understanding of accounting procedures. Supervisory and customer service experience and time spent working long and unsociable hours are a must.
