Would you like to experience living and working in Japan?
If you're interested in Japanese culture, becoming an Assistant Language Teacher(ALT) is one of the best ways to come to Japan. Working in the state school system immerses you in Japanese daily life just by coming to work every day.
You will be teaching for up to 29.5 hours per week, approximately 20 to 25 forty-five to fifty-minute classes each week. Classes may be scheduled between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday. There are no evening or weekend shifts, and Interac ALTs do not work on public holidays.
Full training will be provided by Interac's friendly and enthusiastic trainers. They will introduce you to the ins and outs of working in a Japanese school environment, including Working with Japanese Teachers, Effective Teaching Techniques, Classroom Management, Effective Resource Use, Motivating Students, and Survival Japanese for overseas recruits. |

Applicants should have a minimum of 12 years of English education, possess, a university BA/BS (or equivalent), hold a valid passport and enjoy working with children.
