Description
As Kitchen Porter/Night Porter you will be part of the Chalet Hotel team catering for between 40 to 200 guests.
As Kitchen Porter your responsibilities will be to ensure that cleanliness standards within the kitchen are maintained. You will be responsible for washing dishes efficiently to ensure smooth service with the chef team, cleaning, hygiene checks and stock taking.
As Night porter you will be responsible for running reception cleaning and tidying, nightly watch and security, some hotel administration, stock checking, laundry checking.
We look for hard working, self motivated individuals with strong inter-personal skills and confidence in their own ability to work both alone and as part of a team.
As well as the skills related to your role you will also be required to assist with other duties such as deliveries, snow clearing, assisting with housekeeping, luggage and lifting. You will be expected throughout the season to fully support the Chalet Hotel, Chalet and Child Care programmes in your resort.
Requirements
- Customer service experience essential
- Catering and/or large kitchen experience essential
- Supervisory experience desirable
- EU passport holders only, with UK residency and permanent UK National Insurance number
