General Assistant

Spend the winter working in some of the best ski resorts in the world!

As either a Chalet Assistant or Hotel Assistant you will provide a welcoming atmosphere for the guests and ensure that the high standards that the company expects are maintained. You will assist with the cleaning and preparation of the chalet or Chalet Hotel, assist with the production of reports and help to compile information about your resort for guests.
 
You will help provide a first class service to all guests, welcome them on arrival and help them with their luggage. You will provide guests with information about the chalet or Chalet Hotel and resort, be present at the welcome meeting and deal with any issues that may arise promptly and effectively.
 
You will assist with the set-up and serving of breakfast and evening meals and cleaning afterwards, and assist serving behind the bar on a rota. You will also assist with daily and weekly housekeeping, maintain a high standard of cleanliness daily and ensure that guest bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas are clean and tidy.
 
In Esprit you will assist in serving lunch to the children in the restaurant on a rota, and with set-up for and in serving High Tea to the children daily.
 
As well as the skills related to your role you will also be required to assist with other physical duties such as deliveries, snow clearing, assisting with luggage and lifting. You will be expected throughout the season to fully support the Chalet Hotel, Chalet and Child Care programmes in your resort.

Requirements

Required experience:

• 2 years minimum hospitality and customer service experience essential
• Outgoing personality with a positive and flexible attitude
• EU passport holders only, with UK residency and permanent UK National Insurance number
