Description

Are you interested in becoming a ski or snowboard professional? Want to spend up to 12 weeks learning to teach Snowsports in Canada? This instructor training course is the full meal deal… master all terrain in all conditions.

Earn industry recognized certifications to begin your ski or snowboard career while you challenge yourself in a wide variety of disciplines. Afterwards strong candidates will be sponsored to work as an instructor in Canada .

For up to 3 months our highly qualified CSIA/CASI examiners, specialty coaches and mountain guides will improve your technique, putting you to the test in the legendary coastal Canadian powder, trees, moguls and steeps. They will refine your performance carving on the pristine groomers, in the race course and ski cross course. In addition you will receive depth training on backcountry travel, avalanche rescue, and wilderness first aid skills.

Throughout the course we focus on developing strong leadership skills enabling you to share your passion with others. In the end you will be qualified to teach skiing up to an advanced intermediate level.

Requirements

You should be at minimum an “intermediate” skier or rider… this means you are comfortable cruising blue runs (red runs in Europe) and keen to progress.

Section 8 students will be required to supply their own ski or snowboard equipment and personal camping equipment.
